Discipleship is a programme we run for young people who want to learn more about God. We offer it to anyone who doesn’t have a faith, or who wants to learn more and strengthen their faith, and with a genuine heart to learn.

During discipleship meetings we normally have small groups of  between three to ten people. We start by listening to their recent highs and lows. We want to get to know them on a deeper level and listen to their problems as well as their joys. We follow a simple discipleship booklet programme which has a total of eight books. In these books it has the gospel and helps them learn how to walk closer with God. We answer any questions they may have regarding their faith. We always start and end each time together in prayer.

After we’ve completed these booklets, we encourage them to have their own quiet time reading the Bible daily. We also bring them to a local church. They learn about and get baptised when they are ready. We still regularly meet with them and do group Bible studies even after they have finished the discipleship books.

Every time we meet, we provide drinks and food so they don’t go home hungry. We also have games and icebreakers to try and make everyone feel more comfortable with each other.  Some of our Hands and Feet U.K. volunteers are a testimony from this discipleship programme. We have seen many young peoples lives transformed and we look forward to continuing to do this.
