Education is really important in the Philippines and without a proper education there is limited career opportunities.  The Back to School programme is given to carefully selected individuals which meet our criteria. This involves a lot of thought, prayer and discernment. This programme provides children/youth with a complete school uniform, school supplies and any additional items they need to enable them to go to school.

While selecting individuals to join this programme we choose children and youth in either extreme poverty, broken families or orphans. As much as possible, we try and choose the oldest sibling, giving them the opportunity to support the rest of their family once they graduate.  This involves a lot of careful consideration  as the need amongst families is endless.  Every new school year we  help provide the children/youth with everything they might need to support their education. In addition, throughout the year we support the children/youth with regular visits to check on their welfare and needs.

Not only do we support them in their education, we also visit the families to build deeper relationships with the whole family. During these visits we conduct a Bible Study where we share the gospel to those who haven’t heard it. To hear more about our Bible studies please check out our Bible Study page.

This programme has been running since 2016 and continues to bless families in the Philippines. The students who have graduated and finished are now earning money and supporting their family. Without hands and feet UK, they wouldn’t be where they are today.
