We visit homes and conduct Bible Studies weekly. By going inside a family home it makes our time together so much more personal and allows us to get to know everyone on a much deeper level. We visit all of our back to school children and youth. We lead a Bible Study with their whole family.  When we visit new places we go house to house and share the gospel and encourage them to join a local church.

During the Bible Studies we ask how they are and try and get them to share their personal problems. People aren’t being encouraged to share emotions and feelings here in the Philippines which results in people holding in a lot of pain and hurt. It is really important for us to listen and help them process their problems. We also use the Holy Bible, scripture and prayer to bring comfort to them.

While teaching the Word of God we make sure it is relevant to each person. We adapt this message so they can understand and also relate it to where they are with their walk with God. After the Bible Study we ask if they have any specific prayer requests and pray with them. We have seen peoples faith grow massively and so many lives have come to Christ through these Bible studies.

Before we leave, we give the families a care package. Each package looks different week by week but it often includes rice, canned goods, coffee and snacks the children can bring to school. Every family we visit is poor and has lots of financial problems so by giving them a care package it is providing them with something they need.
